Custom long shot glasses and packaging for SASSE SIX, a Westphalian herbal bitter made since 1928, designed to be enjoyed at events and gatherings.

Challenge
SASSE wanted glassware and packaging that carried its heritage into a modern drink experience, and that could be tailored to different customers and occasions.

Approach
The design started from the product itself. SASSE SIX has been made since 1928 through the gentle process of maceration, and its character is deeply rooted, rich and complex. I translated that tradition into a visual language that was equally layered and craft-led, and applied it to the shot glasses and packaging stickers.

I translated that tradition into a visual language that was equally layered and craft-led, and applied it to the shot glasses and packaging stickers.
I created several variations of the glass, each tailored to customer preferences, so the design could work across different uses while still feeling like one family.
Result
The glasses and packaging are now used by herb-spirit lovers at events and gatherings.
