Hello...Can you hear me???
I have been working at pulpo as the visual/creative designer and photographer. My position has not limited into these three words, I had the pleasure to work side by side the main art director of the company from inspiration to concept generation and the presentation on digital/printed media and at the several fair and showcases.
PLANET PULPO was my biggest campaign project at pulpo; I made my dream idea for the design brand come to life:  A new planet, a new world, a new vision.
ABOUT PULPO
pulpo is a design editor for high-end products in the home sector.  pulpo’s conception is to edit lighting, furniture and accessories of the editor’s choice. The company’s focus is to conduct up-and-coming designers and selected manufacturers, using the nature of materials to form the score. Materials such as ceramics, stone and especially glass, which is pulpo’s primary focus since 2013. ​​​​​​​
A STORY TO TELL.
The story of the successful PLANET PULPO campaign 2023 goes back six months before that when the whole team came back from Milano Design Week, in June 2022. I was obsessed with the idea of exploring a new world outside of this planet, this routine and whatever is inside and trying to find a new door to a new era of designs. 
Looking deep into the main inspiration the concept found itself through the eyes of Stanley Kubrick, my one and only source of vision and visuals. Not only the Space Odyssey 2001 but also Eyes wide shot, Clockwork Orange guided me through the path which I was visualising this campaign.
Together with my team, we started upgrading the whole brand's look and feel, designing a new way of presentation through new styles, colours, fonts and ideas.​​​​​​​
Looking for fresh new looks for the editorials, inspired by the idea of the life of designs on another planet, we made the imaginations come true by bringing the designs into the heart of the ground where the stones are being produced.
As the handcrafted designs are made from the ingredients of nature it was a perfect matching background to shoot the designs in this location. Following the idea of PLANET PULPO we designed each scene based on the storyboard we sketched.  
The results were amazing: An extraordinary look for the brand, the designs, and a new story to be told through the website, social media channels and the new printed media. 
The concept and the scenario were done by me and it was developed by the entire team. Pictures were photographed and retouched by me,  and layouts were done by the other marketing team member. 
The astronaut was the storyteller, the first human who lands on  PLANET PULPO to discover the life of pulpo designs and experience their different finishes and materials. Which ended to building a new home where he feels he belongs.
The idea was to shoot the second part of the story inside the home of the astronaut, all walls made of concrete and round windows inspired by the inside of the spaceship. We looked for different locations till we found out about an amazing hotel in Basel called SILO HOSTEL with the exact looks which we were looking for.
